We Grow Riders & Their Mounts
Maybe you’re just starting out or competing in county or A-level shows; either way, we’re glad you’re here. Jasmin Stair Stables is a full-service Hunter or Jumper training boutique-style stable specializing in the junior and amateur rider.
What do we mean by boutique?
We design a training program tailored to the individual goals and needs of each horse and rider. We offer full-training and full-care programs for the horses entrusted to our care.
We believe:
-
Good horsemanship is the foundation for success.
-
Everything begins with the safety of horse and rider.
-
You can only progress forward with a happy, healthy, and willing horse.
-
The well-being of your equine partner is our top priority.
-
Open communication is key.
-
Having a strong support team behind each rider and horse.
Meet Jasmin
Owner / Head Coach / Show Ring Rider / Manager
Meet Jasmin Stair, the heart and soul of Jasmin Stair Stables, and a Del Mar native whose life has been shaped by the reins and saddles since she was a little girl. Her journey began with Western riding, but it wasn’t long before she fell in love with the grace of English riding and made it her life's work.

Jasmin's dream to become an equestrian competitor was inspired by her father’s love of horses. She blossomed as a rider under the training of Karen Healy, who instilled in her the values of discipline, organization, and hard work.
Jasmin’s quest for excellence took her to the East Coast, diving deep into the competitive world of hunters, equitation, and jumpers at Rivers Edge Farms under the guidance of Ken Berkley and Gary Zook. There, she absorbed every lesson on horse care, competition, and stable management she could, further honed by Missy Clark’s tutelage in equitation. A crowning moment in her career was clinching the Zone 10 ASPCA Maclay regional finals in 2000.

Today, Jasmin is a familiar face in the competitive circuits of the West Coast, not only competing but also shaping the next generation of riders at her stables. She ensures that each horse receives meticulous care, mirroring the detailed attention she gives to every rider.

At day's end, Jasmin's compassion and love for animals extends beyond the stables to her home, shared with retired horses, seven dogs, a host of fish, and a friendly tortoise. “We’re just an animal-loving household!” she beams.
